What you will learn
At this point you should a very nice html page build that adapts to phone, tablet and desktop. You will learn how to convert that responsive page into a Joomla template and then upload it into your site.
Tutorials
We begin by looking at the simplest requirements of a Joomla template. Next we create our own simple template and then modify it with Dreamweaver.
In part 1 you will view the essential parts of a basic Joomla template.
In part 2 I install this template and assign the modules.
In part 3 I bring a copy of the template back to my hard drive for editing in Dreamweaver.
In part 4 I create a more complex template from an existing styled page.
In part 5 I demonstrate some CSS changes and how they effect the finished site.
In part 6 I add an optional module that only appears on some pages
